• Once the WordPress site is completed, please do a quick review and ensure that the links and pages are functioning as required.
  • Check that Google Analytics Tracking code has been added by going into the site Dashboard > Settings > Google Analytics
  • Disable admin bar for logged out users by unchecking the option “show admin bar when viewing site for logged out users” in Setting > admin bar
  • CampusPress sites by default have URL as sitename.blogs.auckland.ac.nz. If a custom domain URL is required (sitename.auckland.ac.nz, sitename.ac.nz, sitename.org) please fill in the domain request form.
  • The site owner contacts their respective faculty’s Communication and Marketing Manager for a final review of the site and approval in terms of branding and content.
  • Once approved:
    • If the site is replacing an already existing site then please log a request via SSC to make the site live.
    • If not, then the site owner makes the site live by changing the “Reading” settings as “Allow search engines to index this site”. Settings > Reading
